Lakanto was born from the desire to completely change to a sugar free world, helping people live with vitality and enjoy life by making healthy and tasty choices more accessible. Our goal is to be guiding people to holistic health and wellness by offering a range of natural sweeteners and sugar free products. Lakanto is made of Monkfruit, a natural sweetener that is used in all products. Unlike other fruits that get their sweetness from fructose or sucrose, Monkfruit gets its sweetness from antioxidants called Mogrosides, which the body process differently than sugar, thus will not contribute to spikes in blood sugar. Not many people, especially in the Middle East, are aware of Monkfruit or its benefits, subsequently, it’s our mission to not only introduce Lakanto to the Middle Eastern market, but also to educate and introduce Monkfruit to the market.
