Amul, the Indian cooperative giant, launched Amul milk in the US. Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF) has partnered with the 108-year-old cooperative organisation Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA) to launch fresh milk in the US market. Amul has also collaborated with Costco, the US-based retailer with one of the largest chains, to make Amul fresh milk available to the Indian diaspora and American consumers.
