company specializing in the import, distribution and processing of nuts Calconut announces new expansion plans, with the aim of doubling its current turnover figures. The company has announced this Monday that it will invest 15 million euros in the construction of a new plant in the Riodel industrial estate, in Mutxamel, where it moved its headquarters in 2020 from Almeria.
According to the company itself, the new plant aims to respond to the growing demand of the retail market (supermarkets, food stores) and also of Nut&me, its flagship brand, with which it markets its processed products. The plant will start construction in June 2025 and will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
