ALI SHIDDIQUE
Singaporean Head Chef, Ali Shiddique, is a classically trained chef in French Cuisine under knighted French Chef, Julien Bompard. Ali moved to Dubai in 2012 to help open 11 Woodfire, where they were awarded 1 Michelin Star in its opening year.
In 2021, Ali moved to LOWE and eventually took over the kitchen to follow through with his sustainable beliefs. Now proudly at the pass, he entwines his culinary creativities with the restaurant’s deep-seated sustainability that earned it the inaugural MENA 50 Best Sustainable Restaurant Award in 2022.
Since joining LOWE, it was the first restaurant to earn the Michelin Green Star in the region in 2022, as well as the MENA 50 Best Sustainable Restaurant Award for the restaurant’s sustainable gastronomy. Following that, in 2023, LOWE was awarded its second Green Star, and in 2024, its third in a row. LOWE was ranked No.15 in the World’s Best Restaurants MENA 2023 and is currently ranked No.37.
