Ana Roš, a celebrated Slovenian chef, has seamlessly combined her love for sports, travel, and culinary artistry into a remarkable career. With a degree in international and diplomatic science from Italy, Ana's multifaceted talents include polyglotism, writing, and boundless creativity. 

She is one of only eight female chefs in the world to lead a restaurant awarded three Michelin stars. In 2017, she was named The World’s Best Female Chef by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. A self-taught culinary virtuoso, Ana’s cuisine is a vibrant expression of the seasons, her terroir, personal travels, character, and femininity. 

As the chef-owner of Hiša Franko, Ana helms one of the rare establishments to hold both three Michelin stars and a Michelin Green Star, a testament to its sustainability. Hiša Franko has been a fixture on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list since 2017, and Ana consistently ranks among the top 10 chefs in The Best Chef Awards list.  

Her commitment to excellence earned her the 2022 Best Chef Pristine Award for her innovative use of high-quality local ingredients, and in 2024, she was named The Best Chef Voted by professionals Award, a prestigious honor reflecting the admiration of her peers. Recognized globally for her influence, Ana was appointed Ambassador of Gastronomic Tourism by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
