Kareem Abughazaleh is Founder & CEO of Foodie Holdings, the leading independently owned caterer in the UAE by number of annual events. Originally established in 2008, in 2019 Abughazaleh acquired Dish Catering & Events, quickly scaling it to the preeminent position in Dubai's luxury catering sector. Dish's success is built on a foundation of precision, creativity, and exceptional client service, catering to a wide range of events, from corporate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. Recognising the growing demand for corporate catering solutions, he also strategically revamped Blast Catering, offering a streamlined and digital-first approach to providing high-quality food for private and business functions across the UAE. Further demonstrating his innovative approach, Abughazaleh cofounded iKcon, a cloud kitchen business incubated within Foodie Holdings in 2019.  This venture showcased his ability to identify and capitalize on emerging market trends, ultimately leading to a successful sale within a few years.  His temporary return to a more corporate structure solidified his commitment to entrepreneurship and his vision for Foodie Holdings when he returned full time in 2024.
