Director and Founder, Prof Consulting Group

Mark Field is the CEO and Founder of the award winning Prof Consulting Group, a global team of grocery specialists operating across high growth international markets. Following an international career in Fresh Food manufacturing working for some of the UK largest companies, RWM Food Group (Part of the Hilton Food Group), Moy Park under the ownership of OSI and 2 Sisters Food Group supplying  Private label products to the leading UK retailers and global QSR chains, Mark moved to Australia in 2011 where he held key senior roles with one of Australia’s leading grocery chains,  Coles Supermarkets leading the own Brand team. In 2016 Mark was appointed Head of Own Brand leading the strategic growth to $9bn within a $40bn grocery business. His key achievements included  establishing a global sourcing team, delivering industry leading responsible sourced commitments across poultry, seafood, red meat,  nutrition and palm oil sourcing, launching 1200 new products  annually across food and non food, whilst  overseeing the success with 580 independent awards for product quality. Through the development of long term supplier relationships new capability across Food to Go, Instore Baked bread, Ready meals, dairy and red meat processing were established. In 2019 Prof Consulting Group was established in Melbourne, Australia, and today with its head office back in the UK,  a team of over 30 Associates advise clients  across each stage of the food and drink supply chain or working directy with major retailers to accelerate commercial success. With international growth through new market access a high focus area for their clients  Prof Consulting under Marks leadership  is an in-market advisor to a number of leading International trade organisations including New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, Food & Drink Exports Assocation (UK), Global bank Santander, ProChile and Bord Bia
