Menna Shahin is an award-winning entrepreneur and the co-founder of eJaby, a pioneering e-commerce marketplace focused on reducing product overstock, overall Co2 and minimizing environmental impact. With a background in pharmaceutical industries, having graduated from Ain Shams University’s Faculty of Pharmacy, Menna's journey into entrepreneurship has been shaped by her passion for technology, sustainability, and creating social impact on a global scale. Despite early challenges in school, Menna’s perseverance led her to academic excellence and a successful career in multinational pharmaceutical companies. Her diverse experiences in project management, leadership, and operations equipped her with the skills to venture into the world of entrepreneurship, where she has made significant strides. Menna is a passionate advocate for women's empowerment. She founded She Travels, a business that organizes travel experiences exclusively for women, integrating self-development coaching into the journeys. She has built a community of over half a million women, encouraging them to build connections and explore personal growth through travel. Menna is a frequent speaker at international forums, including TEDx and the World Youth Forum. Her work has been featured by global media outlets such as Reuters and the World Economic Forum, and she has received numerous accolades for her contributions to sustainability and entrepreneurship. Among her honors are the "Women in Tech" Africa Regional Award at the Global Startup Awards and recognition as a finalist in several prestigious competitions, such as the DIFC Women in Tech program and the "Best Surplus Food App" award from the MEA Business Awards. As a mother of two young sons, Menna is deeply motivated by her desire to create a better world for future generations. She continues to lead eJaby with a focus on sustainability, technology, and social good, inspiring others to take action and make a positive impact.
