Yazen Al Kodmani
Yazen is a pioneering agricultural consultant and an instrumental figure in transforming the UAE’s approach to sustainable agriculture. With a deep-rooted understanding of the local agricultural landscape, he has played a pivotal role in establishing practices that cater to arid climates such as organic agriculture and controlled-environment agriculture. His work addresses the UAE’s unique agricultural challenges, pushing the boundaries of productivity and efficiency. In addition to his role at 3Y, Yazen contributes his expertise to the Food Innovation Hub UAE, where he collaborates with key stakeholders to develop initiatives that support food security, sustainability, and resilience in the UAE. As the GM of Emirates Bio Farm since 2017, he has developed and overseen a proven hybridization of large-scale organic farming, agritourism and retail in the UAE.He has transformed over 25 hectares of arid land into a profitable wholesale and direct-to-consumer farm and tourist destination.
